Jeffrey Allan McLynch, 57, of Guilford, beloved husband of Karen Polhemus, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at their home, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jeffrey was born in North Conway, N.H. September 4, 1948, and is the son of Phyllis Sinclair McLynch, of Intervale, N.H. and the late, Francis McLynch. He was a graduate of Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and had a challenging and fulfulling career in the field of Information Technology. Jeff was an avid scuba diver, world traveler, and a man who took pride in his well-kept lawn. He and Karen had many adventures together, and he will be missed by all who loved to spend time with him.
Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer P. Rose, and her husband, Richard Rose, of Gardner, MA; two sons, Jeffrey Allan McLynch, Jr. and his wife Jill Capitani, of Jamaica Plain, MA, and Timothy F. McLynch and his partner, Alisa Klevens, of San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren; a sister, Corie Lyn O’Donnell, and her husband, Jerry O’Donnell, of Parsonsfield, ME; two brothers, Bryan F. McLynch, and his wife, Marilyn McLynch, of Port Charlotte, FL, and Evan A. McLynch and his wife, Mary McLynch, of Keene, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
